The Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance (CILG) Ghana Chapter has inducted 27 new class of leaders dedicated to advancing ethical governance across various sectors in Ghana at a ceremony held in Kumasi.
The inductees were mainly coordinating directors from local assemblies with a minority segment from private business enterprises.
The event was on the theme: “Rescaling and upscaling leadership- Catalyst for continuous Growth and Development. “
Dr Asare Bediako Adams, the Country Director of CILG Ghana in address highlighted the institute’s commitment to fostering a community of professionals who prioritize integrity, accountability and excellence in leadership.
He reminded new members that CILG membership is more than a professional milestone, adding that; “It is a pledge to embody the highest standards of governance and ethical practice.”
He underscored the importance of Institute’s mission to reshape leadership in Ghana, saying; “Our shared vision is to inspire, govern with accountability and lead with integrity.”
Dr. Bediako told the inductees that as CILG members, they now represented a collective force for positive change in Ghana’s public and private sectors.
The event, he said, marked a new chapter in Ghana’s leadership development, promising to strengthen the influence of ethical governance through the Institute’s initiatives including seminars, mentorship programes and continuous professional development.
He said CILG Ghana Chapter remains committed to building a strong foundation of leadership rooted in integrity with the expectation that its members would become role models for ethical practices in Ghana’s business and public sectors.
Dr. Bediako urged the leadership to always prioritize ethics and transparency to engender trust among the people.
The Country Director outlined numerous benefits of CILG’s membership which include access to leadership training programes, networking opportunities and the chance to participate in global governance dialogues.
