Organisers of the Eat Drink Music (EDM) Festival have announced a media partnership with Citi TV and Citi FM ahead of the 2023 edition of the event scheduled for October 28 and 29.

According to the organisers, the collaboration is expected to boost the visibility and overall success of the festival through extensive promotion across the media platforms, which reach audiences both in Ghana and internationally.

Additional media partners supporting the festival include Asaase Radio, YFM Ghana, 3 Music, 4Syte TV, MX24, Guide Radio, and several online media outlets.

The EDM Festival is a specially curated two-day lifestyle event that blends food, drinks, and music while promoting culture, fashion, entrepreneurship, and entertainment.

The event aims to showcase both traditional and modern music styles, celebrate diverse fashion trends, and provide support for businesses and non-governmental organisations.

The festival will be held at the Untamed Empire in Accra from 12 noon to midnight on both days and is expected to attract between 3,000 and 5,000 attendees, with organisers projecting over 10,000 participants across the two-day period.

Guests are expected to enjoy live music performances, a wide variety of food and drinks, and interactions with top music industry executives and vendors.

Several activities have also been lined up to enhance the festival experience, including entrepreneurial seminars, live podcast sessions, interactive art installations, skill-learning workshops in areas such as fashion, pottery, painting, and art, as well as indoor and outdoor games.

Other attractions include live content creation sessions for social media enthusiasts, music and dance experiences, and fundraising-related activities.

Organisers say the festival is positioned to become one of the major lifestyle events during the autumn season while creating opportunities for networking, entertainment, and business growth.
