Wife of the murdered social media activist Sahadatu Humu has called on the Justice Koomson led committee to call the witness of her husbands murder before she will answer questions over alleged conflicting reports of happenings.
Sahadatu was the first family relation of the slain social activist to appear before the committee today after the family rescinded its earlier decision not to get involved.
Before she started her testimony, Sahadatu questioned the committee on their work in relation to the on going police investigation into the murder of her husband.
She said through a translator that, “Before I testify, I want to make some enquiries. Is the police conducting investigations regarding the death of my husband or you are investigating the death of my husband.”
After her testimony, she asked that the only eye witness at the scene of her husband’s murder be brought before the committee to answer questions.
According to Sahadatu, the woman who is also her neighbor has offered conflicting account as to who killed Kaaka.
She said, “All that I am seeking is that you conduct your investigations well. Find out the one who caused my husband’s death. And the one who testified against my husbands brother should also be called to bring evidence.”
