The Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) Airport View Chapter has held its annual festival of Nine Lessons and Carols to herald the Christmas festivities.

The event, which was aimed at celebrating God’s goodness, mercies and protection throughout the year, also saw the presentation of awards to past executives and deserving members of the fellowship.

Interspersed with scripture readings by members of the fellowship, and music from the Gramophone Chorus choir, the event also sought to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and the impact of the birth of Christ in the lives of believers.

Speaking on the theme: “Revived, Restored, Renewed,” Mr Kwasi Kyei Frimpong, the Chief Executive Officer of Mega Group of Companies, said the birth of Christ restored peace, revived joy, and renewed hope to all mankind.

Citing the story of the good Samaritan, he said, Christ brings revival, restoration, and renewal to the believer, and pays for everything in full.

“Like the good Samaritan, Christ has paid for everything in full,” he said.

Mr Frimpong urged members of the fellowship to take active interest in the word of God for their growth and development, stating that only Christ brings revival, restoration, and renewal.

He further entreated them to love one another like Christ did and added that they extended a hand of love to their families, friends, and strangers.

Mr Emmanuel Nikoi Kotei, the Chapter President of the fellowship, in his address, thanked the entire membership for their continuous support towards activities of the fellowship, and taking part in the same.

He encouraged them to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and extend a hand of fellowship to the people around them.

He expressed appreciation to previous executives of the Airport View Chapter (AVC) for their sacrifices during their tenure and appealed to all members for support in the coming year.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Eric Asah-Addo, First President, AVC, and CEO of Bista Solutions; Mr. David Anagbo, Field Rep, AVC, and Accra Region 3; Mr. Janie Agovi Janie, Chapter President, Crystal Palace Chapter; and Dr. Mamle Tetteh, National Ladies Coordinator, FGBMFI, as well as some Past Executives of the Chapter.
