Pastor Anderson made the call at the 20th anniversary celebration of the Good Foundation International School, in Nsawam.

Mr Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, speaking on the theme: “20 years of excellence: A journey of growth and knowledge”, commended the proprietor and the school administration for an excellent academic work and activities.

The MP who has supported the school with some computers, library books, air conditioning for the ICT lab and 300 bags of cement previously, said he would do more for the school and others within the municipality.

He emphasized that the best property to bequeath children was education, hence donated an amount of GH₵20,000 to the school, towards the modernization of their ICT lab and a motivation for the staff.

Mr Annoh-Dompreh urged members of the community to consider and retain the ruling government for their good work by voting for him and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the coming election.

Ms Sarah Nyakoa Nkansah, Circuit Court Judge who sits as additional magistrate at the Nsawam district court, who chaired the occasion said her willingness to honour the invitation was based on her commitment to education and community development.

She therefore urged parents and guardians to provide their wards with all that they needed to concentrate on their books to become great future leaders.

Dr. Mark Anderson, School Administrator called on the government to support private schools, saying they augmented the government’s effort to extend education to all children in Ghana as stated in goal four of the Sustainable Development Goal.

He urged the government not to see private schools as business only, but also providing essential service to Ghana and Ghanaians. “Government should support private schools materially and financially to build the country.

He also urged the government to review the 30 percent placement policy since that placed most private schools at a disadvantage.
