Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has kicked off 2026 with a fresh collaboration, teaming up with Nigerian artist Yaadman (formerly known as Yung L) on the vibrant Afrobeat track “Wins & Losses.”

The three-minute single, produced by Dj Coublon, blends Sarkodie’s signature sharp, introspective lyricism with Yaadman’s signature Afrozimm energy and melodic flair. Released under Eagle/SarkCess and Ziiki Media, the song dropped recently (around February 12, 2026), marking Sarkodie’s first release of the year.

At its core, “Wins & Losses” delivers a resilient, motivational message about life’s ups and downs. Standout lines like “It’s either you win or you lose, gotta keep it going / Don’t get it confused, life is for the strong“ capture the track’s theme of perseverance, pushing forward regardless of setbacks, and choosing the right path with focus and strength.
The production fuses Afrobeat rhythms with rap elements, creating a mature, infectious vibe that highlights the chemistry between the two artists. Fans have been quick to praise the maturity of the sound, calling it a masterpiece and highlighting how the duo “never miss” when they link up.
This cross-border link-up continues Sarkodie’s tradition of powerful collaborations and shows his versatility beyond pure rap. Yaadman brings that smooth, vibe-heavy touch, making “Wins & Losses“ a perfect anthem for anyone grinding through challenges.
