In a heartfelt interview with Rama Ndiaye on Heart And Soul With Rama, Ghanaian Afro-fusion star Gyakie shared one of the more personal challenges she has faced since her rise to stardom—maintaining communication with her family. As her career continues to soar, the demands of her work have made it increasingly difficult to stay in touch with her loved ones.

“When I Started Getting Busy With The Work, Communication With My Family Started Becoming A Bit Difficult And Even To See Them”

While the physical distance and time constraints have been tough, Gyakie also expressed how her family has come to understand and accept the realities of her demanding schedule.

    Adapting to Change
Though the lack of frequent communication can be emotionally challenging, Gyakie explained that her family is learning to adjust to the new normal. Her rise to fame has meant that she is constantly on the move, traveling and performing across the globe, making it hard to keep in touch as often as she would like.

    The Strain of Fame
Like many artists, Gyakie is faced with the reality that achieving success often comes at a personal cost. The time spent on building her career has meant sacrifices in maintaining close family relationships. However, her resilience and her family’s understanding speak to the strength of their bond, even if physical distance sometimes creates a gap.

    Moving Forward
Despite the challenges, Gyakie remains committed to her family and is finding ways to balance her professional and personal life. As her career continues to evolve, she is likely to face more obstacles, but her growing connection with fans, and the support from her family, will undoubtedly help her navigate these challenges.

Fans continue to cheer her on as she builds her legacy in the music industry, and it’s clear that Gyakie’s love for her family remains at the heart of her journey.
