Mr Felix Klu-Adjei, Volta Regional Public Affairs Officer of the GIS told the Ghana News Agency that the items were seized through intelligence gathering.

He said the suspects fled after they sighted the patrol team and that the items found on the motor tricycle with registration number M-19-VR-1763 were, eight bags of Urea fertilizers and 23 boxes of agrochemicals.

Mr Klu-Adjei said the tricycle and the items had been deposited at the Ave-Havi Border post for further investigations.
