The Ministry of the Interior has released fresh dates in February for applicants who were unable to complete the Centralised E-Recruitment Portal Aptitude Test due to technical issues.
In a public notice, the Ministry explained that some Category C candidates with WASSCE certificates encountered challenges while attempting to submit their aptitude tests online. Officials noted that the technical glitch affected a number of applicants, making it necessary to intervene to ensure fairness in the ongoing 2025/26 security services recruitment process.
To resolve the situation, a staggered mop-up exercise has been scheduled from Saturday, February 21 to Friday, February 28, 2026, with specific dates assigned to the various security agencies under the Ministry.
Applicants to the Ghana Immigration Service will retake their tests between February 21 and February 23, while those applying to the Ghana Police Service are expected to do so on February 24 and 25.
The exercise will end with candidates applying to the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Prisons Service, who are scheduled to access the portal from February 26 to February 28.
A final mop-up session for all categories (A to C) will also be conducted from March 1 to March 2, 2026. The Ministry added that results of the aptitude test will be released on March 4, 2026.
Affected applicants are expected to receive SMS notifications detailing how to log back into the portal and complete their assessments within the revised timeline.
Meanwhile, about 82 per cent of applicants who have already completed the test successfully will not be allowed to access the portal during the extension period to help avoid system congestion.
