Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko will be facing ES Setif of Algeria at the playoff stage of the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors have been drawn to battle out with the Algerian top-flight side for a spot at the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Asante Kotoko were declared losers in the Champions League tie with Sudanese side Al Hilal after failing to raise a team to play the second leg tie of the 2020/21 CAF Champions League against Al Hilal after seven(7) of their twenty20) players tested positive for Coronavirus.

However, reports in the local media indicates Kotoko are preparing to challenge the CAF decision at the court of Arbitration for sports(CAS) for declaring them as losers of the tie with Hilal.

Asante Kotoko meanwhile supposed to host ES Setif in the first leg tie at the Accra Sports Stadium and travel to Algeria for the reverse encounter.
