The chiefs and people of Manso-Takorase in the Amansie South District have called on the government to pay attention to the deplorable road network in the area.

Mr Dominic Bonsu, Assembly Member for Takorase Afraso Electoral area, told the Ghana News Agency that, the call was to remind President John Dramani Mahama on his promise during the campaigning period to fix the road network in the area.

He pointed out that improved road network would not only help ease the burden of residents but would also help open the area and promote investment and business activities to support the local economy.

Mr. Bonsu pointed out that the deplorable nature of the roads had become an albatross disturbing the daily activities of the people in the area. He said it was important for the government to make it a priority to fix the road immediately to bring relief to the people.

Mr. Bonsu pointed out that the good people of Manso Adubia constituency contributed tremendously to the electoral success of President John Mahama and the new NDC government. He said since governance was a continued process, it was important for the new government to continue and fast-track the completion of all ongoing road construction projects started by the previous government in the area.
