    Newly elected executives of ABUG sworn into office

    The newly elected national executives of “All Bikpakpaam Union of Ghana” (ABUG), have been sworn into office with a call on them to ensure peace and unity within the Konkomba communities.

    The swearing-in took place at the Emmanuel Assembly, Church of Pentecost Dambai in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region.

    The 14 newly inducted members include Mr Solomon Koyaja Tangbari (Founder), Mr Stephen Njochala (President), Mr Joseph Manoba Tikola (Vice president), Mr Yussif Nkpebu Binidam (General Secretary), Mr Joluis Nwula (Deputy Secretary) Mr Luwuis K. Belijo (Financial Secretary), Mr Moses Gbanjab (Treasure), and Mr Albert Gyato Kpalen (Deputy Treasure)

    The rest are Mr Nimodo Nkrumah Bilabo (National Organizer) Mr Jacob Nbangmabu-Madabon (Deputy Organizer), Mr Jacob Ntenyinbor Kijortiik (CID) Mr. Joseph Nignangem Malu (Zonal-Coordinator), Mr Abel Nla-Lifur (Public Relation Officer) and Mr David Wumbei (Deputy Public Relation Officer).

    Mr Stephen Njochala, the President of the Association thanked the entire ‘ABUG’ especially the electoral college for their trust and faith bestowed on him to lead them.

    He appealed to all ‘ABUG’ members to rally behind him to serve their keen interest, adding that the journey was a difficult one.

    Mr Njochala pleaded with the well-to-do people in the Konkomba communities to support the association to achieve its intended purpose.

    Mr Solomon Koyaja Tangbari, the founder shared with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) their primary objective is to collaborate closely with all Konkomba chiefs in Ghana.

    He said the partnership aimed to promote unity, cultural preservation, and social development within the Konkomba communities.

    Mr Tangbari emphasised the importance of gender inclusivity within the union, he urged women to embrace the association and make good use of it.

    He acknowledged the vital role women play in community development and encouraged their active participation.

    Mr Yussif Nkpebu Binidam, the general secretary, together with other executives of the ABUG union have reaffirmed their commitment to working diligently for the betterment of the union.

    This assurance was a welcome development for the union members who have been seeking stronger representation and improved working conditions.
