The Ghana Police Service has arrested two individuals in connection with the disappearance of a couple, Dr. Jesse Amuah and Elizabeth Esi Amuah, who have been missing since March 23, 2026.
A formal report was lodged with police on April 22 after relatives raised concerns over the couple’s sudden absence. According to family members, their residence was found locked, their vehicle was missing, and all attempts to reach them proved unsuccessful.
Following the report, a joint team made up of the Missing Persons Unit, Anti-Armed Robbery Unit, and Crime Scene Management Team launched investigations, visiting the residence and tracking multiple leads that resulted in the arrest of the two suspects.
Police have withheld the identities of the suspects to protect the integrity of the investigation but confirmed that they are currently assisting with inquiries.
Authorities are also urging the public to provide any useful information that could help locate the missing couple by reporting to the nearest police station.
