Prophetess Mary Mensah, at a grand ceremony at the Central Church of Glory at Kpenoe, in the Ho Municipality, has been ordained as a bishop.

She was also awarded an honorary doctorate degree in Divinity and Humanity by the Kingdom Excellence Leadership Institute University.

The event was organised in collaboration with the Apostolic Ministry International Network, which also ordained five other ministers as prophets, an apostle, and a reverend minister.

Prof. Joseph K. Mihaye, leader of the Apostolic Ministry International Network, officiated the ordination and induction ceremony.

He praised Bishop Dr. Mary Mensah for her exemplary leadership and dedication to humanity in the Volta Region.

“Her work in transforming lives and breaking barriers has been recognized internationally, compelling the University in South Africa and the USA to honour her contributions,” he noted.

Prof. Mihaye urged the newly ordained leaders to embrace humility, respect, and hard work in their ministries.

He emphasized the importance of submission to both God and church leadership, encouraging them to expand their work with diligence and integrity.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Bishop Dr. Mary Mensah expressed gratitude to God for the recognition and encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in their faith.

She advised Ghanaians to prioritise peace during the upcoming December 7 elections.

“God already knows who the next leader of this country will be. Let us trust in Him and avoid any form of violence,” she urged.

Her message was a call for calm and unity, emphasizing that faith should guide the nation through the electoral process.

The ordination ceremony was attended by hundreds, including family members of the newly ordained leaders, friends, and prominent religious figures.

The event featured vibrant praise and worship sessions, heartfelt prayers, and words of encouragement from various ministers.

The ordination of Bishop Dr. Mary Mensah marks a significant milestone in her ministry and underscores her contributions to both the church and the broader community.

The ceremony served as an inspiration to the congregation and highlighted the importance of faith, leadership, and service.

As the nation approached the elections, she called for peace, which she said resonates as a timely reminder of the power of unity and trust in divine guidance.
