The National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASPAWAP) has announced an increase in sachet water prices, with the new rates set to take effect from Monday, April 6.
According to the association, the price adjustment has been driven by a global shortage of polymers, coupled with a sharp rise in their cost. This situation has been worsened by the ongoing tensions in Iran.
NASPAWAP explained that the surge in production costs has made it increasingly difficult for producers to sustain existing prices, necessitating the upward review.
