Mr. Yeboah emphasized that the SWAG Awards remain a key platform for honouring outstanding athletes and recognising their contributions to Ghanaian sports. He appealed to Goldbod’s management to support the milestone celebration.

In response, Mr. Gyamfi commended SWAG for its longstanding role in promoting sports and upholding professional sports journalism in Ghana. He pledged Goldbod’s readiness to back initiatives that celebrate Ghanaian excellence, noting that sports play a vital role in fostering unity and empowering the youth.

Other members of the SWAG delegation included Mr. Charles Kwadwo Ntim and Mr. Kwadwo Baah Agyeman.

The SWAG Awards, Ghana’s oldest national awards scheme, continues to champion sporting excellence while promoting hard work, discipline, and patriotism among athletes and sports administrators.
