The third edition of Ghana Models Awards Juniors will come off on Saturday, October 26, 2024, as rising modelling stars will be recognised for their efforts.

The Ghana Models Awards Juniors is an event that celebrates children in the modelling industry in Ghana, who have shown great potential to become professional models or have excelled in modelling-related fields.

Mr. Jerry Wonder, founder of the awards, stated that they received lots of entries and praised parents for believing in the initiative of celebrating young potentials as a way of motivating them for the future.

“Personally, I love the way the guardians and parents of the nominees are pushing their kids out there, from social media to word-of-mouth campaigns. They have really done well. And, that’s why we are also going to give them a great show this year. So, they can expect that,” he said.

Mr. Wonder emphasised the need to celebrate these young models so that they can explore the vast economic advantage that comes with the craft.

“We live in times where young people are abandoning their talents and pursuing things they are not passionate about. That’s why this event is important because it reminds us that greatness is a journey and not a one-time event,” he explained.

This year’s grand finale roster boasts both Ghanaian and foreign children, including the daughter of multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese.
