    TV3 organizes first edition of Date Rush Viewers’ Choice Awards

    The first edition of the Date Rush Viewers’ Choice Awards came off last Sunday, July 4, 2021


    TV3s most popular show “Date Rush” has always been the topic for most people on Sunday evenings. The show has always entertained most Ghanaians and made their Sunday evenings fun.
    The show is all about 10 ladies or guys being on stage with one lady or guy coming up on stage to pick one of the ladies or guy on stage and then they both go on a date.

    This year’s season 5 edition has been super exciting and fun and the most dramatic amongst all the other seasons. Some contestants found love and others ended up not finding love.

    This year TV3 decided to make it a little different and more fun by introducing “Date Rush Viewers Choice Awards”. The contestants of date rush get nominated for various positions such as Most popular male and female, Most romantic guy and girl and others, get to be voted for and the winner is awarded.

    The program took place on Sunday, July 4, 2021 with Mr Drew, Sefa, Tilly Tilda, Lyte, Kweku Darlington and HD performing that night. Fatima and Ali bagged the most awards but lost the ultimate, Best Couple of the season, to Dzato and Grace.

    Most Hilarious Male – Desmond

    Most Hilarious Female – Cilla

    Most Controversial Couple – Bebelino and Sandra

    Freshest Male – Process

    Freshest Female – Ellen

    Most Romantic Male – Benjamin

    Most Romantic Female – Success

    Drama King – Sammy

    Drama Queen – Bella

    Most Vocal Male – Qwesi

    Most Vocal Female – Stephanie

    Gnasher of the season – Rockson

    Most Trending Male – Ali

    Most Trending Female – Fatima

    Most Popular Male – Ali

    Most Popular Female – Fatima
