Residents of SCC down, a community in the Weija-Gbawe Municipal have pleaded with government to come to their aid as soon as possible. This followed after the heavy downpour of rain within some few days in Accra, Ghana.
The Natural Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) together with its field workers upon paying a visit to affected communities in the area on Friday noted some challenges the people in the community were facing and how to alleviate such challenges.
In an interview with some of the residents, one Paul Aboagye disclosed that, whenever it rains in the area, residents find it very difficult sleeping throughout the night for fear of loosing their property and their lives.
