Following the unexpected death of Akua Antwiwaa, the two-year-old Ghanaian TikTok sensation whose contagious charisma won over thousands of hearts nationwide, social media has been in grief.
Only a few hours ago, her mother verified on TikTok that she had passed away.
“I am sorry to announce the sudden death???of my lovely daughter ANTWIWAA???MAY YOU REST IN PERFECT PEACE????,” she wrote alongside a heartbreaking tribute video that has since gone viral.
Although the precise cause of Akua’s death is still unknown, family members have told us that she became ill just before she passed away.
