Newly promoted Premier League side, Bofoakwa Tano FC, they have inked a substantial partnership deal with renowned betting giant, Wingatebet Limited, operators of the popular “SOCCABET” sports betting platform in Ghana.
When Bofoakwa kick-off their 2023/24 Premier League campaign against Accra Great Olympics on Saturday in Accra, the team will display the SOCCABET logo on their jerseys, signalling the commencement of this exciting new collaboration.
With a storied football legacy, Bofoakwa Tano FC have consistently showcased their football prowess, churning out some of Ghana’s football legends such as former Black Stars captain Kwasi Owusu, famously known as ‘Powerhouse’ and Dan Owusu, the first player to clinch the goal-king title three consecutive times.

After sealing the partnership contract in Accra, Alhaji Fadi Fattal, the Group Director of Imax Media Group (a company with speciality in sports and entertainment broadcasting and management), emphasised that the sponsorship would usher in an era of innovation and mutual prosperity for Bofoakwa Tano FC and Wingatebet Limited (SOCCABET). The deal encompasses a wide range of marketing initiatives, community outreach programmes and exclusive promotions tailored to delight the club’s supporters.
