    Teacher kills himself over hardship at Tinkong

    A pupil teacher at  Tinkong in Akuapem North Municipality has allegedly hanged himself to death with a piece of cloth .

    The deceased, a twin, was identified as John Atta Asamoah Duodu alias ‘O-level,’ and his body was transported to the morgue by Adawso police for preservation and post mortem.

    He did not leave behind any notes communicating the reasons for his actions.

    However information  gathered suggests that he had invested in an online network marketing business which turned out to be a scam. He also complained of hardship as a result of a huge deduction in his monthly earnings.

    His brother told Starr News that apart from his complaints about his take home salary, he had episodes of hallucinations and it seems there could be evil forces haunting him.

    The Assembly Member of the area told Starr News “it is true. Yesterday we had a big funeral at Tinkong while at the funeral we had information that someone has committed suicide later the police called me that the family had reported so I went there and the body was conveyed to morgue. He hanged himself with a piece of cloth in a room”.
