The MCE said the first phase of the DRIP program would surface grade 96 kilometers out of the 253.78 kilometers of roads in the municipal in the last quarter of the year.

He mentioned the targeted roads to be worked on in the first phase to include, kojina -Agyemadiem, Medina-Aboagyekrom-Berekuline, Asawinso township, Abonse-Kumoekrom and Punikrom-Keteboi among other community roads.

He assured of the assembly’s commitment to put into good use the equipment for the benefits of the residents and announced that the assembly had put in place a dedicated project management team led by the Municipal Road Engineer to oversee the effective operations of the project.

“The team will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to ensure transparency, accountability, and timely completion of works”. Mr. Agyapong said.

The MCE expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the Ministry of Roads and Transport, the Regional Minister and all stakeholders who contributed to the project’s implementation.
