    A Historic Night for Stonebwoy

After years of being a fan favorite and a consistent presence in the dancehall and Afro-fusion scene, Stonebwoy finally clinched the top honor of the night. As his name was announced, the crowd erupted into thunderous applause, with fans and fellow artists alike celebrating a well-deserved milestone in his storied career. His emotional acceptance speech reflected his long journey, dedication to his craft, and love for Ghanaian music.

“This is not just my win. It’s for every youth dreaming big. Keep going,” he said to roaring cheers.

King Promise and King Paluta Dominate

While Stonebwoy’s win stole the emotional spotlight, King Promise and King Paluta were the night’s dominant forces. With multiple awards across major categories, both artists showcased their grip on the current music landscape.

    • King Promise walked away with awards for Album of the Year, Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste, and Collaboration of the Year, underlining his versatility and hit-making consistency.

    • King Paluta, on the other hand, captured hearts and accolades with wins including New Artiste of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year, and Best Rap Performance. His lyrical prowess and unique sound have clearly struck a chord with fans and critics alike.

A Celebration of Ghanaian Music’s Diversity

From gospel powerhouses to rap phenoms, the 2025 TGMAs celebrated the richness of Ghanaian music. Performances from the likes of Black Sherif, Efya, Kuami Eugene, and Wendy Shay added vibrant color and energy to an already memorable evening.

    Looking Ahead

The 2025 TGMAs will be remembered for crowning long-overdue legends and ushering in a new wave of talent. With artists like Stonebwoy finally getting their flowers, and new stars like King Paluta ascending rapidly, the future of Ghanaian music looks brighter than ever.
