Accra is set to host Africa’s political and business leaders from February 4 to 6, 2026, as the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2026 returns with a strong focus on empowering Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), women, and young people to fully participate in Africa’s single market under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The high-level forum will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre and will bring together Heads of State, policymakers, captains of industry, investors, development finance institutions, and entrepreneurs from across the continent and beyond.

Held under the theme “Empowering SMEs, Women and Youth in Africa’s Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.”, the dialogues aim to advance practical solutions that unlock inclusive growth, expand intra-African trade, and accelerate the implementation of the AfCFTA.

Organised by the Africa Prosperity Network in collaboration with the Office of the President of Ghana and key continental partners, APD 2026 will feature high-level panel discussions, policy dialogues, business networking sessions, and deal-making platforms designed to translate commitments into tangible outcomes.

The forum is expected to spotlight critical enablers such as access to finance, digital payments, cross-border trade facilitation, skills development, innovation, and regulatory harmonisation, with particular emphasis on supporting women- and youth-led enterprises.

Africa Prosperity Dialogues has emerged as a flagship platform for shaping Africa’s economic integration agenda, fostering public–private collaboration, and positioning the private sector as a key driver of the continent’s development aspirations.

The 2026 edition is expected to further consolidate Ghana’s role as a hub for pan-African economic dialogue while reinforcing collective efforts to ensure that the benefits of Africa’s single market are broad-based, inclusive, and sustainable.
