Popular Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has unveiled her newest business venture Traffic Shawarma Franchise.

Speaking at the launch on Friday, April 5, 2024, Beverly Afaglo advised her colleagues in the entertainment industry to invest in businesses to ensure a steady income even when they are not actively working.

According to the celebrated actress, as more people enter the industry, actors may not be called every day for work, but having a business will provide an alternative source of income.

She recommends investing in something because people continue to look up to celebrities, even after their fame fades.

“Like Hollywood, where celebrities such as 50 Cent and Jay-Z own companies. Investing in something can help because there may not always be roles available for older actors due to their appearance or acting style, but a business can provide a reliable income stream.” She said

“People trust my brand…Anything I put out there is considered legitimate … so far Traffic Shawarma franchise has received positive feedback…Traffic Shawarma is a street food so the setup is either a container or a block shop by the roadside on a busy street. It is not a luxury or 5-star setup but a lot goes into setting up. Just to give interested investors a heads up” She added
