Ghanaian singer and songwriter IVK, a fast-rising talent known for his versatility and unique sound, is set to release his debut single titled “Hallelujah” on November 23, 2025. Speaking exclusively to KAK News, IVK explained the inspiration behind “Hallelujah”, describing it as a heartfelt song of gratitude and reflection.

“The song is about being grateful to God for how far He’s brought us. We’ve recorded lots of deaths this year — from the legendary Lumba to Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings. This year has been one of the most tragic years, and if anyone made it this far, then this is the song to sing to at least say ‘Hallelujah,’” he shared.

The emotionally charged single captures the essence of thanksgiving and resilience, serving as a powerful anthem for anyone who has endured hardship yet continues to find reasons to be thankful. IVK’s lyrical depth and soulful delivery make “Hallelujah” more than just a song — it’s a message of hope and faith.

While many emerging artists tend to stick to specific styles, IVK is intentionally carving a lane of his own, refusing to be boxed into a single genre. His music blends elements of Afrobeat, soul, highlife, and contemporary gospel, creating a refreshing sound that cuts across audiences.

As anticipation builds for the release of “Hallelujah”, fans and music lovers alike are eager to experience IVK’s artistry and message. The song arrives at a time when many are reflecting on the challenges of the year, making it a timely reminder to pause, be thankful, and celebrate life.

“Hallelujah” drops officially on November 23, 2025 — a soul-stirring debut from IVK that’s sure to inspire hearts across Ghana and beyond.
