Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall sensation Kim Maureen is back, and this time, she’s got a message for the PEOPLE.

Her brand new single titled “PEOPLE” features rising producer and bass player Mikoo, and it dives deep into the pain of smiling faces hiding jealous hearts. Inspired by true-life experiences, Kim Maureen boldly sings about the ones who pretend to clap for your success but secretly hope for your downfall.

“PEOPLE” is more than just a song — it’s a raw and emotional expression of betrayal, disappointment, and the hard lessons learned from trusting the wrong ones. The lyrics hit home for anyone who’s ever been burned by fake friends, and the delivery? Unapologetic and powerful.

Mikoo, who not only features on the track but also brings his magic as a music producer and bass guitarist, adds depth and soul to the production. His instrumentation blends beautifully with Kim Maureen’s passionate vocals, creating a sound that’s both heavy and heartfelt.

With “PEOPLE,” Kim Maureen reminds us that not everyone around you is for you — and sometimes, music is the best way to heal and tell your truth.

The song is officially out now and accessible on all the various streaming platforms and from the sound of it, this one’s going to resonate with a lot of listeners who’ve been there too.
