They urged the citizenry to respect and learn each other’s culture to promote national cohesion and unity.

Culture, they mentioned, was the singular driver of human progress and existence, which should not be underestimated in terms of its role in growth and development.

She appealed to him to use his enviable position to establish a project in Cape Coast for the youth to benefit from his visit.

Mr .Joel Essoun, a resident, advised the youth to embrace the opportunity and ensure they derived its full benefits.

He pleaded with the citizens to embrace the patriotic spirit of the Asantes and avail themselves to serve the community for development to thrive.

Mr. Essoun noted that both areas should use the opportunity to showcase their culture and identity to help protect the cultures for posterity.

Mr Suleman Abdullai Ofori, a resident, appealed to the Asantehene to guide Cape Coast to successfully undertake some development projects found in his kingdom.

He mentioned, for instance, the Otumfuo’s Educational Fund being used to assist the youth.
