The Police have restored calm at Mamobi, a suburb of Accra, following disturbances between supporters of the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress, resulting in the injuries of nine people.
Seven of the injured have been treated and discharged while two are still receiving treatment at a hospital.

A statement from the Police said an intelligence-led operation was currently ongoing to arrest the perpetrators to face justice.
