    More than 200 pastors grace Mahama’s National Thanksgiving Service

    The National Thanksgiving Service held on Sunday by the Government was graced by more than 200 pastors from across the country to give glory to God for a peaceful 2024 general election.

    The event, held at the University for Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), was organised by the Government, in collaboration with the leadership of the Christian community, was also to pray for the leadership of the nation.

    Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the Founder and Overseer, Christain Action Faith Ministries Worldwide, led the clergy to pray for President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina, Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the entire leadership of the Government, and the nation in general.

    The Reverend Dr Stephen Wengam, the General Supt, Assemblies of God, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah, Apostle General, Royalhouse Chapel, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, Founder and Archbishop, Perez Chapel International, Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu-Bempah of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International; Dr Lawrence Tetteh, Founder/President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach, and Bishop Salifu Amoako, General Overseer, Alive Chapel International, were among the attendees.

    Also in attendance were Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei, the Presiding Bishop, Pleasant Place Church; Prophet Akwasi Agyemang Prempeh, General Overseer, Springs of Joy Ministries International, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, Prophetic Hill Chapel; Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, Glorious Wave Church, Rev Dr Cyril Fayose, Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Dr Gordon Kisseih, Life International Church, and Rev Ernest Kwadwo Agyei, Ringway Gospel Centre Assemblies of God, among others.

    There were also leading figures of the ruling National Democratic Congress in attendance, including Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, National Chairman and Mr Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary.
