Ghana’s Afro-fusion sensation Gyakie is officially setting the stage for her next big musical chapter. The award-winning songstress has just announced the release date for her next single — Friday, May 23rd, 2025 and fans are already buzzing with anticipation.

This fresh announcement follows Gyakie’s recent unveiling of the title of her upcoming album: “AFTER MIDNIGHT.” While the full tracklist and concept remain under wraps, the title alone has sparked speculation among fans, with many expecting a body of work filled with late-night emotions, sultry sounds, and deep reflections — a signature of Gyakie’s soulful artistry.

One of the first notable names to react to the release news was rapper Kweku Smoke, who dropped a cheeky but telling comment under Gyakie’s post:
    “I’m waiting 🪑”
His words captured the mood of many fans — eager, excited, and literally on the edge of their seats. The chair emoji quickly became a mini symbol of anticipation across social platforms, with fans echoing his sentiment.

Gyakie has consistently delivered music that resonates across borders — from her breakout hit “Forever” to her EPs and international collaborations. With “AFTER MIDNIGHT,” fans are anticipating a more mature, refined version of the songstress. If the rollout continues at this pace, it’s clear Gyakie is gearing up for a defining era in her career.

Though details of the upcoming single are still under wraps, insiders and fans alike expect a bold, refreshing sound — possibly blending Afrobeats, soul, and R&B with Gyakie’s soft yet commanding vocals.

With major industry names like Kweku Smoke publicly expressing excitement, and Gyakie’s global fanbase steadily growing, the pressure is high — but so is the belief in her. This isn’t just a single release — it’s the beginning of a new Gyakie era, and everyone wants to be part of it.
