The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Canada Branch has elected a new team of executives to lead the branch following its executive elections held over the weekend.
The elections, which took place a week after the branch’s chapter elections on July 19, 2026, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to democratic leadership and effective organisation within the Ghanaian community in Canada.
Leading the newly elected team is Victoria (Vicky) Owusu-Ansah, who was elected Branch Chairperson. She will be supported by Stephen Osei Owusu as First Vice Chairperson and Nana Kwasi Agyapong as Second Vice Chairperson.
The other elected executives are:
- Branch Secretary: Andrews Boadu Osei
- Deputy Secretary: William Akoto
- Treasurer: Stephen Ossom
- Organiser: Alhassan Yakubu (Big Mo)
- Women’s Organiser: Naomi Apenteng
- Youth Organiser: Vanessa Otuo-Acheampong
- Nasara Organiser: Mohammed Tofik Issah
- Communication Officer: Felix Appiah-Korang
The successful elections usher in a new chapter for the NPP Canada Branch as the newly elected executives prepare to strengthen party unity, deepen member engagement and promote the ideals and policies of the New Patriotic Party among Ghanaians living in Canada.
Members of the branch expressed confidence in the new leadership, saying they expect the executives to build on the branch’s achievements while advancing its vision through dedicated service, accountability and effective leadership.
