Present at the meeting were Mr Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff and Dr Callistus Mahama, the Executive Secretary to the President.

In another development, Dr Maxwell Opoku-Afari, the First Deputy Governor of the BoG, held a meeting with President Mahama to announce his voluntary resignation.

This also followed Governor Addison’s resignation last week.
