Dancehall heavyweight Popcaan is back with a powerful message and gripping storytelling in the official music video for his new track “How You Aguh Know,” directed by Lagikz Supreme. This isn’t just another street anthem — it’s a cinematic dive into the harsh realities of trust, betrayal, and life on the edge.

The video kicks off with a dramatic scene: a young man, clearly tied to a gang, is arrested and hauled into police custody. What follows is an intense interrogation that exposes the fragile line between loyalty and self-preservation.

As the pressure mounts in the interrogation room, the suspect ends up snitching on his own crew — a decision that leads to a domino effect. In the final scenes, the same gang members he gave up are seen being arrested one by one, driving home a hard truth: in the streets, betrayal doesn’t just end relationships — it destroys entire foundations.

Popcaan’s lyrics in “How You Aguh Know” speak directly to the streets, tackling issues of false loyalty, hidden motives, and the cost of bad decisions. The video mirrors those themes with a storyline that’s as cinematic as it is real — pulling no punches in showing how quickly things can spiral when trust is broken.

The visual’s pacing, gritty settings, and emotionally charged performances bring an authentic vibe that matches the tone of the track. It’s a street parable — not glorifying the lifestyle, but exposing the pain that often lies behind the bravado.

Beyond the drama, Popcaan is sending a message to the youth and the streets: Think twice. Know your circle. Loyalty is everything — but it’s also rare.

“How You Aguh Know” is another reminder of why Popcaan remains a voice of the culture, constantly blending raw reality with musical mastery.

The music video is now live on YouTube and already sparking conversations around loyalty and street ethics.
