President Mahama announces first set of ministerial nominations

President John Dramani Mahama has submitted his first set of ministerial nominations to Parliament.

The nominees are:

1. Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson – Minister for Finance Designate
2. John Abdulai Jinapor – Minister for Energy Designate
3. Dominic Akuritinga Ayini – Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Designate

Dr. Forson is an economist with extensive experience in public finance and taxation. Mr. Jinapor brings a wealth of experience in energy economics and finance to the energy portfolio. Mr. Ayini is a legal expert with a strong background in law and justice.

These nominations will now be considered by Parliament’s Appointments Committee.
