The 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) build-up reached fever pitch on Saturday, April 11, 2026, as the Xperience Concert lit up the Youth Resource Centre Stadium in Koforidua. The free event brought massive energy to the Eastern Region, but it was Stonebwoy, the Bhim Nation President, who delivered a show-stopping headline performance that fans are still talking about.
Arriving around midnight in true kingly fashion, Stonebwoy made a grand entrance flanked by ecstatic crowds waving lights and phones. Reports and viral clips show him carried onto the stage in a majestic palanquin, turning the stadium into a sea of celebration. Fireworks, energetic dances, and non-stop vibes followed as the Afro-dancehall star turned the night into an unforgettable party.
    Highlights from Stonebwoy’s Electrifying Set

The Bhim Nation leader treated fans to a powerful mix of hits and emotional moments from his latest projects:

    • “Hero” – Uplifting and anthemic, getting the entire stadium singing along.
    • “Silent Samurai” – The bold, confident banger from 2026 that showcased his disciplined flow and stage dominance.
    • “Many Times” from Torcher II – An emotional highlight that had fans deeply connected, with heartfelt delivery that resonated throughout the venue.
Stonebwoy’s performance kept the energy at maximum level, blending high-octane dancehall moves with smooth vocals and slick choreography (including impressive reverse dance steps). The free concert, which also featured artists like Wendy Shay, Medikal, Lasmid, and Piesie Esther, became a true celebration of Ghanaian music ahead of the main TGMA ceremony in May.
Bhim Natives and music lovers flooded social media with praise, calling the night a “kingly spectacle.” Stonebwoy’s own post captured the moment perfectly, with fans echoing the sentiment.
Fellow TGMA heavyweight Stonebwoy received shoutouts, including a notable post from industry peer highlighting the regal path: “only KINGS walk this Path,” accompanied by clips of fireworks and high-energy stage moments.
Videos circulating online show the stadium shaking with collective sing-alongs and wild celebrations as Stonebwoy closed the show strong, leaving fans chanting for more.
The TGMA Xperience Concert is designed to bring the awards excitement directly to the people and Koforidua 2026 delivered. Stonebwoy’s headline set not only hyped up the main awards night but also reinforced his status as one of Ghana’s most consistent and charismatic live performers.
With Torcher II still fresh and new singles like “Silent Samurai” gaining traction, the Bhim President continues to prove why he remains a force in Afro-dancehall and Ghanaian music.
