Ghanaian Afro-dancehall superstar Stonebwoy has once again stirred excitement in the music scene, confirming via a surprise YouTube Live session that his long-awaited project, The Torcher EP, will officially be released before the end of 2025. The news has sent fans — affectionately known as the Bhim Nation — into celebration mode, with social media already buzzing with anticipation.

During the livestream, the internationally acclaimed artist gave fans a special treat: an exclusive first listen to an unreleased track titled “Gidigidi.” The record, which translates loosely to “fast” or “intensely” in local dialect, is a high-energy anthem that blends hard-hitting drums, infectious melodies, and Stonebwoy’s unmistakable vocal delivery. While the full track isn’t yet available on streaming platforms, the snippet alone has left fans craving more, with many already predicting it will be a chart-topper.

“This one’s straight from The Torcher EP,” Stonebwoy revealed with a grin, visibly excited about the project. “It’s been a journey, but we’re ready to deliver heat — real fire. I promise, the EP is coming this year.”

The announcement comes after months of speculation around Stonebwoy’s next musical move, especially following the success of his 2024 album UP & RUNNIN6, which earned global recognition and featured collaborations with artists such as Ir Sais, Wyclef Jean, ODUMODUBLVCK.

While Stonebwoy didn’t disclose the full tracklist or official release date for The Torcher EP, he hinted that the project will be a bold exploration of sound — fusing reggae, dancehall, afrobeats, and highlife influences in new and innovative ways. True to his reputation for pushing boundaries while staying grounded in African identity, Stonebwoy promises fans something both familiar and fresh.

Industry insiders believe that The Torcher EP could mark a new era for the Ghanaian star — one that cements his role not just as a hitmaker, but as a global torchbearer for African music. And if “Gidigidi” is anything to go by, listeners should prepare for a sonic experience full of intensity, meaning, and movement.

As anticipation builds, all eyes are now on Stonebwoy. One thing is certain: when The Torcher EP drops, it won’t just be music — it will be a moment.
