Ghana’s Afro-dancehall king Stonebwoy is making history as he prepares to headline one of Africa’s biggest music festivals. The Bhim Nation leader will take the iconic Bouregreg Stage at the Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:30 p.m.
This marks Stonebwoy’s first time headlining the massive event, which runs from June 19 to 27, 2026, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The free festival attracts millions of fans annually and features a world-class lineup including Major Lazer, Macy Gray, and many more.
Fresh off the release of his highly acclaimed album Torcher II in March 2026, Stonebwoy is riding a wave of success. The project, which dives deep into themes of perseverance, loyalty, and spiritual strength (highlighted by standout tracks like “Wilderness” and “Many Times”), has further solidified his position as a global Afrobeats and dancehall force.
This Mawazine performance builds on his previous electric show in Tangier during the AFCONand a memorable Rabat appearance earlier in the year alongside Burna Boy. Fans and critics alike continue to praise his high-energy delivery and unmatched stage stamina.
Bhim Nation supporters are already showing strong excitement across social media, waving Ghana flags and celebrating Stonebwoy as Africa’s cultural ambassador. The performance represents a powerful cross-cultural exchange, bringing Ghanaian rhythm and energy to one of the largest stages in the Arab world and North Africa.
With Mawazine’s reputation for blending international superstars and regional talent, Stonebwoy’s set promises to be unforgettable delivering his signature blend of Afro-dancehall, reggae, and highlife that moves both body and soul.
