In his address, titled ‘Running the PCG Way,’ Moderator of the General Assembly of Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Prof. J.O.Y. Mante stressed that for a Christian to be successful, he or she had to hold dear three things; to persevere, be committed and be full of gratitude despite the grave circumstances in the world.

He added that it is easier to be a critic than a doer, therefore, instead of complaining, Christians should take the fort and avail themselves to various ministries in the church and be positive-minded.

Concluding his sermon, the Moderator charged Rev. Abekah ‘to do his best for Jesus’, as he may never get such an opportunity to do.

Moreover, the congregation and clergy prayed with Rev. Abekah and asked that God grant him strength for the journey ahead.

Addressing the congregation, the Reverend thanked all who were able to grace the occasion and acknowledged his family for aiding him in his ministerial journey.

Until his induction as Presbytery Chairperson, he was the District Minister of the Adweso District, Koforidua.
