    In addition to participating in the Institute’s core activities, fellows expand their professional networks in the field of international affairs and hone their leadership abilities through the course.

    October 2024 to July 2025 is when Academy Fellows will spend 10 months at Chatham House in London. They will have hybrid working alternatives and be based full-time. Completing a personal research project, contributing to ongoing research, and taking part in a leadership programme to build knowledge, connections, and abilities for future employment are the three key components of the fellowship.

    October 2024 to July 2025 is when Academy Fellows will spend 10 months at Chatham House in London. They will have hybrid working alternatives and be based full-time. Completing a personal research project, contributing to ongoing research, and taking part in a leadership programme to build knowledge, connections, and abilities for future employment are the three key components of the fellowship.

    Fellows take part in a range of programmes to improve their knowledge and abilities. They give research tasks, get mentoring for personal growth, and get media training. Also, they can learn from executives in a variety of industries through the ‘Leadership in the 21st Century’ Breakfast Briefings series. Fellows might choose to get optional career mentorship to help them refine their career path and perspective.

    The selection process involves completing an application, being reviewed by a selection committee, being invited to a Zoom interview, and being selected and notified via email.

    Program Benefits
    A monthly salary of £2,365 will be provided to the fellow to cover publication, fieldwork, and relocation expenses. Reasonable costs including airfare, lodging, visas, and the UK Immigration Healthcare Surcharge are covered by the Academy. Alumni will receive five years of Chatham House membership in addition to access to Academy teachers and alumni.
    Eligibility Criteria
    Applicants must submit a research proposal, their CV or résumé, and the names of two referees in order to be considered for a fellowship. Experience performing independent research, relevant prior experience, demonstrated leadership, dedication to Chatham House’s goal, drive to fulfil fellowship requirements, and fluency in spoken English are among the selection factors.
