Northern Business Fair 2026 opens in Tamale today to boost trade and investment

Hundreds of businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and consumers are gathering at Jubilee Park in Tamale this weekend as the Northern Business Fair 2026 opens today, Saturday, July 25. The two-day event, organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM, runs until Sunday, July 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.

The fair is expected to transform Jubilee Park into one of Northern Ghana’s largest commercial hubs, bringing together businesses from across the country to showcase their products and services, build partnerships and connect directly with thousands of potential customers.

Organisers describe the event as more than an exhibition, highlighting its role as a platform for generating sales, expanding customer networks and creating long-term business opportunities. Exhibitors will also have the opportunity to receive direct consumer feedback, strengthen brand visibility and introduce new products to the market.

The success of previous editions has raised expectations for this year’s event, with many exhibitors returning after recording strong sales, including several who reportedly sold out their products before the fair ended.

Visitors can explore a wide range of products and services, including locally processed agricultural goods, fashion, cosmetics, handicrafts, household items, technology solutions and financial services. Live product demonstrations and interactive exhibition stands will also allow patrons to engage directly with manufacturers and business owners.

For small and medium-sized enterprises, the fair offers an opportunity to reach wider markets, particularly for businesses in Northern Ghana seeking greater exposure and partnerships with investors, corporate organisations and development partners.

Consumers are also expected to benefit through access to quality Made-in-Ghana products, competitive pricing and exclusive promotional offers available during the exhibition.

Beyond business transactions, the Northern Business Fair aims to promote entrepreneurship, encourage local production and position Northern Ghana as a key destination for investment and enterprise development.

The fair is powered by Channel One TV with support from Citi FM and is sponsored by Ecobank, the National Petroleum Authority, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), and Northshore Apparel Ghana Ltd.
