The hearing of the case involving the suspects linked to the death of Ibrahim Mohammad alias Kaaka has been rescheduled for August 12, 2021, in Asokwa District Court 1 presided over by her worship Akua Adu Boahen. This will allow the police to collect more evidence for prosecution.
Chief Superintendent Kofi Blagodzie had prayed the court for another two weeks to close up investigations.
The police judicial prosecutor has said, “We pray that my lord remand the suspects for another two weeks, by that we can adequately inform the court about our position”
Her worship Akua Boahen urged the police to expedite their investigation so that the three suspects could be tried in court.
For the first time, one of the accused person, Iddi Mohammad who is the brother of the deceased, had a legal representation but could not defend his client in court on Thursday. The other two accused persons are yet to show any legal representation.
Fuseini Alhassan, Ibrahim Issaka and Iddi Mohammad are facing charges of conspiracy to commit crime and murder.

Muhammad Ibrahim, also known as Kaaka Macho was a social activist whose death sparked a riot in Ejura.
