Supreme Court Judge Samuel Marful-Sau has died, the judge is reported to have passed Tuesday afternoon. He was 64.

His recent high profile case was the 2020 election petition where he sat as a member of the 7-member bench that affirmed President Akufo-Addo’s victory in the polls against former President John Mahama.

He was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2018 by President Akufo-Addo.

In 2002, he was appointed a Justice of the High Court and was elevated four years later to the Court of Appeal where he served until he was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2018.
