Madam Justina Owusu-Banahene, the Bono Regional Minister, has tasked the New Patriotic Party (NPP) followers in the Jaman South Constituency, to work hard and regain the parliamentary seat for the party in the Election 2024.

She said the level of development brought to the constituency by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government remained a yardstick for the NPP to regain the parliamentary seat.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Drobo, the constituency capital, on the side-lines of her election 2024 campaign visit to the area, Madam Owusu-Banahene said Jaman South remained a stronghold and so the party supporters there should strive hard and recapture the parliamentary seat for the NPP.

Colonel Kwadwo Damoah, a former Commissioner at the Custom Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority is contesting the Parliamentary Elections on the ticket of the NPP.

Madam Owusu-Banahene said from all indications, the electorates would vote for the Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP Election 2024 flagbearer when they go to polls on December 7, saying, “Col Damoah also has a strong alliance with the Vice President.”

With his alliance with the Vice President, Madam Owusu-Banahene said voting for Col Damoah would advance the progressive development of the Jaman South constituency.

The Regional Minister praised the parliamentary candidate for his unwavering support to the party in the constituency, as well as supporting and empowering the young people in the area.

“The Jaman parliamentary seat is our traditional property, and we must all support Col Damoah to take back the seat to the NPP,” Madam Owusu-Banahene advised the party supporters.
