GTA confirmed that preparations at the Accra Sports Stadium will begin on December 23, with BHIM Music Group handling the full event setup.

Maame Efua Houadjeto, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, said the collaboration reflects the Authority’s commitment to promoting the creative arts as a vital component of tourism development.

“This partnership highlights our focus on using the creative arts to drive tourism growth. The ‘December in GH’ initiative continues to unite people while attracting visitors to experience Ghana’s rich culture, music, and hospitality,” she said.

GTA underscored the significance of major cultural events like the BHIM Festival in strengthening Ghana’s position as Africa’s premier destination for festive experiences.

The Authority reiterated its commitment to working with industry stakeholders to deliver world-class events under the “December in GH” banner, which continues to attract thousands of visitors annually.

Founded by renowned reggae and dancehall artist Stonebwoy, the BHIM Festival has become one of Ghana’s most anticipated celebrations of African creativity, unity, and global influence.
