    Bernard Tekpetey wins fifth league title with Ludogorets.

    Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey has clinched another league title with Bulgarian giants FC Ludogorets Razgrad.

    The 27-year-old who has spent most of the campaign on the sidelines due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear, saw his side confirmed champions after the victory over Cherno More in the Championships playoffs.

    Tekpetey has enjoyed league success in each of the five seasons he has been with the club, winning his ninth trophy with the club.

    In the title-clinching game against Cherno, Olivier Verdon opened the scoring at the stroke of half time before Swiss-Ghanaian Kwadwo Duah sealed the victory for the Green Eagles.

    The former Schalke O4 star is expected to join his teammates on Saturday at the Ludogorets Arena before their match against Levski to celebrate their latest triumph.

    Meanwhile, this season, the pacy winger has made seven appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals for the club.Tekpetey is still on his way to full fitness and will be expected to play a key role at the Bulgarian club next season.
