During a sizzling recent episode of KAKWAY (the popular Ghanaian music interview and performance session), fast-rising artist Kwesi Taadi, now performing as Nawala3hua, made bold headlines.
In the exclusive sit-down, the young talent didn’t hold back: he crowned Black Sherif as the most consistent Ghanaian artiste of 2025.
He went further, confidently declaring that Black Sherif is destined to snatch the prestigious Artiste of the Year crown at the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) in 2026.
Kwesi Taadi’s reason was simple yet powerful: non-stop hard work.
Throughout 2025, Black Sherif delivered consistent releases, emotional street anthems, and standout performances that kept him at the forefront of Ghanaian music. From dominating Apple Music Ghana charts with tracks like “Sacrifice” to the release of his impactful project Iron Boy, the “Global Wicked Boy” showed relentless dedication and growth.
His nine nominations at the upcoming TGMAs including Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year (Iron Boy), and Most Popular Song of the Year only reinforce the momentum Taadi highlighted.
Kwesi Taadi’s comments carry weight as he continues to build his own buzz with his “CHINESE NE BA” EP and energetic live sessions. His shout-out reflects the respect Black Sherif commands among peers in the Ghanaian music industry.
The full KAKWAY episode is now live on KakTV GH’s YouTube channel, packed with performances, insights, and more from the promising artist.
