Ghana’s fast-rising singer Bravaddo has officially revealed his top five Ghanaian rappers, sparking conversations among fans and hip-hop lovers. During an exclusive sit-down with Ghanaian entertainment/music blogger and YouTuber, Mr. KAK, on the KAKWAY show, Bravaddo shared his admiration for some of the country’s finest lyricists, highlighting their impact, consistency, and lyrical mastery.

    Bravaddo’s Top 5 Ghanaian Rappers:

1️⃣ Sarkodie – Ghana’s most decorated rapper and an undisputed legend in African hip-hop. With a career spanning over a decade, Sarkodie’s fast-paced rap, unique Twi flows, and global recognition cement his status as the GOAT.

2️⃣ M.anifest – Known for his poetic lyricism, deep storytelling, and intellectual approach to rap, M.anifest continues to push the boundaries of Ghanaian hip-hop with his unique delivery and thought-provoking bars.

Omar Sterling – A member of R2Bees, Omar Sterling (formerly known as Paedae) is celebrated for his introspective lyrics, conscious rap style, and ability to blend street wisdom with deep messages in his music.

4️⃣ Kwesi Arthur – A new-generation star who has made a huge impact on Ghana’s rap scene. With his blend of rap, Afrobeat, and drill, Kwesi Arthur represents the fresh, raw, and unfiltered energy of today’s youth.

5️⃣ Lyrical Joe – Arguably one of Ghana’s most technically gifted rappers, Lyrical Joe is known for his razor-sharp wordplay, fast delivery, and deep metaphors. His lyrical dexterity sets him apart as a true rap heavyweight.

Bravaddo explained that his selection was based on a combination of lyrical prowess, influence, consistency, and overall contribution to Ghana’s rap culture. He praised Sarkodie’s dominance, M.anifest’s deep lyricism, and Omar Sterling’s thought-provoking storytelling. He also acknowledged the new-generation powerhouses—Kwesi Arthur and Lyrical Joe—who continue to raise the bar with their dynamic styles.

As expected, Bravaddo’s Top 5 list is already sparking debates among hip-hop enthusiasts. With Ghana’s rap scene constantly evolving, fans have their own opinions on who deserves a spot on such an elite list.

💬 Do you agree with Bravaddo’s top five? Who would you add or remove? Let’s hear your thoughts!
