    Camidoh gets 2023 BET nomination

    Award-winning Ghanaian Afropop, R&B and Afrobeats singer Camidoh has been nominated for the 2023 BET Awards.

    The ‘Sugarcane’ hitmaker was nominated in the Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act category of this year’s Black Entertainment Television awards.

    The nominees’ list was released on Thursday, June 8.

    Camidoh, whose song Sugarcane’s remix picked the Best International Collaboration of the Year at the 24th VGMAs, will be up against Asake of Nigeria, Raye and Flo of the UK, Labianca of Cameroon, Maureen and Werenoi of France, MC Ryan FC of Brazil and Pabi Cooper of South Africa.

    The awards will be held on Sunday, June 25 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA.

    But fans have up to Thursday, June 15 to vote for their favourite to clinch awards.
